PayPal new Layout (beta)

So Paypal is about to change their layout for something a little more practical and user friendly.
In my opinion it was about time, they have been using that old system since always. To be honest, I believe that for newbies, this old system and layout was a little confusing, for both the sellers and buyers.

There is a link on the top that read: Preview the new PayPal Homepage and once you are using that one it will read Switch back to the original PayPal. If you try to switch back to the original, the system will ask for your feedbacks based on your experience with the new page.

Have you used this new layout/system/theme or however you would like to call it?
If so, what do you think?

It looks almost the same to me with differrent graphics. I could really care less abot the graphics. I dont think there are any new features. An improved search would be nice to have.

yeah, after working with it I noted that its all the same....lol, i really don't get it. They should add some cool new stuff, like for example giving you the option to add more than one payment notification url. Like one for every email address.

This is an interesting world we live in where a few graphics are
changed around on a homepage and suddenly it's a BETA of a
    new homepage.

I guess every time we post a new story on our network we should
invite people to test the new daily beta homepage. ROTFLMAO! :)

I think PayPal need to implement a better system for searching through past transactions because I frequently have to refer back to past purchases and it would make it easier to find them.

that would be nice...with the large profits from their fees i would think they could do that for me lol.. but this "upgrade" seems to be all about the graphics unfortunately

I just noticed this a few days ago. It really doesn't matter to me though, all I look at is the user area where you send/receive payments.

    Looks alright though, I guess.

I didn't even notice anything before I saw this thread... New layout seems pretty clear like the previous one. Not much more to comment there.

As long as they keep giving a good service I don't care how their website looks.

It's a nice change but it doesn't add a whole lot to the service. On top of this since this has shown up I've noticed that sub accounts no longer can do refunds even when they have the permissions.

Now what Paypal could really do is make things faster on Paypal accounts with 100,000+ transactions. It is absolutely frusterating when it takes minutes to load each page and a search for transactions within say 6 months takes minutes to do as well.

It still looks pretty lame imo. And it's always been a pain to use; not intuitive at all!

I tested it for a while.
To be honest I don't really care about the design.
The current website is good enough for me :)

I think the new design looks a little better but I haven't seen any major improvements.
