Hello guys, this is my first post. Im wondering if you can help me with this one.

Some time ago I stopped using my paypal's account because I had negative funds. Now they are sending me mails that I need to pay. I never had a credit card or a bank linked to it. I have my own reasons to believe paying that money is unfair.

Can paypal do some "legal things " against me? Should I pay it?

I do NOT live on USA.

Paypal can't do anything. Don't worry.

It depends, if the amount is over $50 then they MAY send your details to a credit recovery company, even though the amount is very low the companies who chase debt tend to immediately put their fees onto the amount you owe which goes up daily. It is wrong but you can end up owing hundreds of pounds/dollars for a simple £50/$50 initial debt. I am sure if you contact Paypal and offer them an instalment plan to pay off the debt they will accept, explain that you are skint and this is the only way you can do it. Don't ignore them unless its something silly like $10 or less because what will happen there is that they will more than likely write the debt off but blacklist your name, address and number etc
