Hi all, I sold a item on Paypal. That is a Virtual item. The buyer got the item and then he reported to paypal that he never got the item. But I know that, the buyer got it, because, I'm not billed each month. I have the proof also, that, the item is acquired by same other person, on the same day. But now, the buyer is cheating me. Mine is a Business Account with paypal and I have the Paypal Business Debit Card as well. I also have the Paypal Credit Card also. I don't want to create a problem. But when I called Paypal and told them that this is the situation and I will get a copy sent to them via Email or Fax or USPS, they said that, they cannot do anything, since it is a virtual item and Paypal does not support virtual items. Is there anyway, that I can get the money back? Because, now, I sold the item, and I had to pay for that. Basically, I gave away the item for free and the worst part is, it took my 10+ hours of valuable time. Any help is highly appreciated.
Hello, Since it is a virtual item you wont get any help from Paypal. This happened to me also, in my case the buyer opened a dispute in the Paypal resolution center and I replied all the messages he put there and I caught him there, then I asked Paypal to read our conversation there and decide who is right ? Finally that case goes in my favor and I got my money back. You too can do this if your case is pending at the resolution center, if it closed that you cant do anything. All the best!
