Long story short, lost a dispute and now I have -$858 in my account. PayPal still has no solution for digital products. Account verified with bank account and PAN is added. No credit card is added. I've been using the account for past 6months and did a lot of buying and selling. What am I gonna do now ? My account is limited too and asking for things they usually do. I don't wanna pay the amount, it will be a complete rip-off :( Am I expecting some legal issues ? I'm from India, btw.

I think for such small amount paypal is not gonna initiate any legal action on you as as per RBI they are not fully legal in India.

I would like to know if you were buyer/seller? As balance can go negative only if you were seller but for digital products Paypal dont offer refund under any circumstances. So I'm not sure what problem you are facing.

If you were buyer then how your account got negative as you would have already paid for the product and if you lost the dispute then it should stay as it is.

If you were seller then Paypal would not have decided against you as according to Paypal policies digital goods dont cover there dispute feature and they dont refund under any circumstances. Clear it up please so that other expert members can help you out.

That's what I said in my above post.

If you are seller then according to Paypal policies seller cant loose dispute if the dispute is for digital goods.

Don't pay it. They will probably just close your account and try to stop you from ever having another one.
It's not a rip off if you lost the dispute. It just means you lost. Welcome to the world of doing business.

No offense but who would buy a digital product from an individual person in another country that costs $800?
