paypal negative amount

    Well, since 2 months i have a paypal account with a negative amount.Currently my paypal account has $-8.


    Last week they send me a mail that they will take MAYBE legal actions if i don't pay the $8.


    What should i do now? Anyone made experience with it?
    I'm living in Germany.:)

    Why do you have a negative balance?

    Anyway, I can't honestly see PayPal pursuing legal action against you for $8, as it would cost them more than that to do so.

    But on the other hand, they may terminate your account, which would be a pain in the ass.

    My advice would be to pay the amount owed.

    When you have negative balance and when you add payment or someone will send you payment paypal will automatically deduct from it. If you wont add fund or receive fund paypal will keep sending you emails

    how did you come to a negative balance? if its because of a charge back then maybe you just need to reload your account.

    It was a charge back.
    Some send me $8, then i bought something for $8, so my paypal had $0.
    And after 1 week he refunds the money.. And then i had $-8.

    And i'm not 18 and my parents didn't know something about it.. And i don't know how to pay the $8 :S

    I don't know how to earn $8 online.
    I haven't got a bank account.

    Maybe someone can rent me $8 ? :/

    You got to send PayPal what you owe them, you won't be able to do further transactions until you have cleared your debts, don't even try to create a new account, if you can't make it then leave the account until you have a job and a bank account.

    just send e check to paypal Germany if you cannot receive for Limited.or call Paypal dept when will take payment direct via phone:)

    Yup dont worry they won't take any legal actions for such small amounts though obviously you can't use your account anymore.

    I have a paypal account but still no money. I wonder how it would go negative.

    I don't think it's really a concern since it's only 8$. Paypal wouldn't bother to worry about it.

    I faced the same issue, and its of good amount . SO better , you should clear the mess off by doing some work. You are already in the Forum so why dont you earn something on B/S/T .
    And also, paypal wont bother to worry about it
