Paypal name change help!!

Guys,

My name is paypal is Kesavan GowriShankar

But my name in bank account is G S Kesavan

I need to change it and I contacted paypal about this. How much time will they take to make this change?

Will they change it? Anyone's personal experience?

 

I don't think so.
What I did was close my account, then recreated it with correct name and details.

But you can't change the name on your account to another person's name.

 

I tell you from my personal experience. PayPal doesn't provide enough help in this matter. You will need to change your PayPal account or your Bank name in the end.

You can try contacting them once to see if it works now. They usually take 24-72 hours to reply you back.

you can do a minor correction, just it is mis-spelled, so you will get it,

it takes 24 hours, to get corrected.

 

But there are funds in my paypal account. What can I do now? I can't close this account and create a new one just like that. I also have a personal account and it's having some problems right now. What should I do? Will I be able to transfer all the amount in just one day after creating a new premier account?

 

Make a new account and then transfer funds to your new account

I dont think paypal will have any problem in changing Kesavan GowriShankar to G S Kesavan .. just call their CC n tell tht my bank a/c had my name initials n not full name so u might face problem in receiving funds..i can just say this but i dont have any personal experience

 

Thank you all... I got my name changed successfully. called paypal customer care and spoke to the agent. He did it immediately.
