Paypal monthly withdraw limit

Discussion in 'PayPal' started by ourktm, Jul 2, 2009.

    Hi,

    I just found out that there is a monthly withdraw limit on my personal paypal account. I can only withdraw $500 to my linked bank account per month. I requested $500 into my bank account last month on June 26th.

    When will I be able to request again? Because right now when I check it is not possible to withdraw to my bank again. So do I have to wait 30 days for the limit to renew or it's once a month (renews every 1st of the month)

    Thanks

    I think there is a limited for you because your account has not been verified. If you verify your paypal account you will have an unlimited withdraw limit.
    I think i'm right in saying once you have reached you initial withdraw limit un-verified, you need to verify it before you are able to withdraw again.

    I guess...nobody is actually aware of how Paypal determines the completion of one month, whether it is from the first transaction or from the 1st day of the month.

    People obviously do not wait for that long and instead prefer to initiate the verification process! :eek:

    You must verify the account to remove this limit. Where are you from?

    Well the acccount is a legit US paypal account. It is verified with the help of a bank account. It is a personal account so i think it has that limit of $500 per month.

    this is what paypal shows in my withdraw page

    Even I've got an unverified account and the limits don't seem to reset every month...For the past 2 months, the limit is fixed on $500 { meaning its stayed at $500 and all my withdrawals over 2 months have gotten deducted from this amount}

    Your personal account would still be having an unverified status or else Paypal would have readily showed you the limit of $ 2500 per month.

    If you account status does show it to be verified, do contact their customer support for rectification of your limits!

    He probably bought a us paypal account from one of the multiple sources and even with those there are issues with removing money. You will most likely have those limits forever. If you have an account that you own that does not have limits You might be able to transfer money to that paypal account as a gift and then withdraw it. But that may get both accounts limited. Paypal is very strict with their policies and you can get your account limited for the dumbest reasons.
