PayPal.me finally launched in India

    Just thought I would share with the DP community that PayPal has finally launched PayPal.me service in India.

    Earlier in 2015, it was only launched for US and some of the European countries. As per Mashable, the service was not available for Asian countries during the time.

    PayPal which has got larger customer base in India, have finally listened and rolled out PayPal.me.

    I haven't checked for other Asian countries yet since I'm from India, but you can go to your PayPal account and see if there is a link beneath your profile.

    This is a really amazing feature for Indians and many Asians because they have a huge number of freelancing community.

    I guess that's a good news.
    Can anyone tell the advantages of PayPal.me? I am interested to know if there are any additional benefits which PayPal is not offering.

    The main advantage is that it makes receiving money faster. This means that you only need to provide a link to your client such as paypal.me/yourname/250 to receive $250. They don't necessary need know your email address. This makes it easy to receive the payment. It is faster and helps you receive website donations too.
