No, you are not safe. It would be a good idea if you were to close one of your personal accounts.

I understand that but it was your duty to read the ToS/AUP when you first signed up. Everything is outlined in those resources and you must agree to it, in which you did in order to create your accounts.

Now that Paypal is out of the question for me,

What would other people recommend as a payment processor?
I was thinking AlertPay as it is pretty similar to Paypal.

    Any suggestions?

If I have a bank account under my name (with a reutable company JP Morgan Chase) attatched to my paypal, is that enough to convince them I'm not a terrorist or whatever? I just can't risk getting my account limited due to the nature of my buisness.

No. That has nothing to do with accounts becoming limited.

Then what is? Receiving $10,000 for reasons other than it being an ebay item?

selling of digital goods is always risky over Paypal, They just say that it is a risky business and they can't bear the the risk inherent with the business , You wont be able to get your account back if its limited, You can just use the refund option and return your money to your client and ask your client to send you money from western union or other payment method

I have had a poor experience with PayPal also. They are notorious for not responding to emails...you just get this junk from them that is completely automated. I have read that when the wrote their user agreement, the lawyers involved were very clever to cover all the bases...meaning they can freeze accounts, dip into bank accounts, etc as they please, leaving the account holder little leverage to get their accounts unfrozen, etc. Overall, I think we need aother alternative to this giant.

I sent tons of emails and most were ignored with automatic replies. then i got a message saying i need to fax in a appeal and how to do it. The next day, right before I was going to fax it i got an email... "we finished reviewing your paypal account and it has now been restored"

    I was happy, but confused....

i first got my account limited in feb due to European Union laws on money laundry (received over 1000$). I got my account limited for 3 months (Yes, 3 months!!!! over 90 days!). But i still could send and withdraw money.

1 month ago I got my account limited again (received over 2500$). This time I cannot Send or withdraw money!
I'm really stuck and cannot go on with any of my online businesses.

    Any ideas? I'm really desperate.
