I've read this whole thread about your PayPal problem. First, I'm glad that you did in the end get your PayPal account restored! But if anybody ever has any other problems with PayPal (or ebay suspension) I would recommend http://www.screw-paypal.com as a solution. They also have PayPal alternatives there - a huge list with full reviews and so on.
These days, PayPal is using country specific rule for money transferring. Some months ago same cases happened with many Indian to verify their document. I hope your account will get full access very soon.
Ive used paypal for 10 yrs on and off, now they've decided I need to provide photo ID. I scanned and emailed lots of 'normal' ID but I dont have a passport and driving license. They wont accept photo ID in the form of gym mmebership and bus pass. So....my account with money in it is restricted, they said I had 132 days to sort it but after 30 days only, they've stopped me from sending and transferring money - although I can receive it. Which I dont want to, whats the point? They've completely ruined my Ebay business.
Paypal has its own monopoly IMO. However I think you can withdraw your money after 180 days from the date of restriction of your account.
what is the main reason our paypal account has a limit?. I was afraid to send in large numbers. whether delivery 3 times a day to make our paypal account is being limited? I was afraid to do it
Romanystar: I'm sorry you're PayPal is restricted and is having an affect on your ebay business. Other members in the forum are correct, after 180 days they will allow you to withdraw the money from your account. I know it doesn't help your business and it's a long time to wait, but at least you will be able to get the money eventually. Also, you can try appealing the restriction by writing them and letting them know your situation about not having a passport or drivers license.
your problem is the same with me, PayPal also has restricted my account and now I can not send or receive payments.
Paypal doesn't always require your documents to be faxed to them for verification. But if they are asking for it, then there is a possibility that your paypal id might be associated with some other paypal account, duplicate accounts, TOS violations etc.
