PayPal limited my account-What to do now?

dude i get hundreds of these emails a week, they are usually phishing scams.

log into your paypal account there should be a message if your account has really been limited. otherwise they are probably phishing scams.

 

an alternative is getting a prepaid credit card, bank of america has them.

 

how will i buy them, i cannot send money from my account..

 

ouch, that sucks...

 

paypal has also limited my 3-4 a/c ,thats disadvantage.

 

open an e-gold account, try to trnasfer some money to it, or sell something online to quickly put some money on it, then go to:

contact them and tell them you need a card for paypal, you get one after payment in a few days, buy a credit card of 20 bucks,

Then add your card to paypal, now get a bill with your name and address and fax them, use this service it is free:

Dont panic, they will open your account in 2 days if you follow the steps above.

One thing, perhaps you gave them the address of USA and you live in India, then I hope they dont open you account you want to enjoy the benifits of living in the Super States! NO

This problem can also be solved make a search online for USA ID's or documents or just take an account status from your local bank open photoshop and make the required corrections, voila here you have a document saying your address is in California!

I sand them a fax last night, but i have still not reveived any confirmation...

as you are in india it would take around 2-4 days to receive the confirmation.

 

Honestly, sometimes the pure dumbness of some of the questions people ask here appalls me. Why would you expect anyone here to know the answer to that question? Ask PayPal.

 

Give them at least a week. I received reply from them within a week.

 

You should verify your account with adding credit card, because, withou it, paypal limits the sending and withdrawal amount. If you don't have credit card of your own, you can use any of the relative's credit card.

 

i also had the same problem then i used my uncle's credit card to get verified and then everything is fine from the day i got verified.
All you need is to get verified Set Up Bank Funding, Add Credit Card and that is it.

 

can anyone offer me a vcc for verifying paypal. I will pay him thru paypal as soon as i can raise the sending limit with the help of verification

And that desert wind sound you hear is the rush of all the people not rushing to offer him a credit card number...

Well, basically it just means that after checking into your credit history, Paypal found that you are too risky to have as a customer as such, they give you two options :-

1) Refund all your customers their money OR
2) Place your funds on hold for 180 days and hope no one claims the money then once the 180 days are up, they will send you your money.

So at the moment, you cannot use your Paypal account to receive any more payments or withdraw anything for now.

 

I have not added a credit card. Is it bcoz of this. If i add a credit card will it work.

You need to talk to Paypal about this. It probably is more than just the credit card issue here.

You can create a Business Account but you will need a Credit Card to verify that and also a bank account which is registered with your company name to withdraw from them.

I believe the best option is not to run away from the current situation but to try to work with Paypal to get the account issue fixed or else you dig a bigger hole for yourself.

As per your initial post, you already have 3 paypal accounts while you are only pemitted 2 maximum (One Business/Premier + One Personal).

Get Paypal to determine two of the accounts and then add a real credit card to verify the current account. Work with Paypal and see what is the best option for you.
