Guys... My PayPal account was limited for the first time in the last month and I faxed them all the documents they required. They restored my account. But, now.. they have limited my account again and they are asking for some other documents like Credit Card Statements, Bank Statements etc.. They are also asking for the business registrations, invoices and all the other stuff. Now.. I have sent them many emails and they are not replying me.. I got reply. but.. they just stated that this is for security purpose. Now.. I sent them another mail 2 days back and no reply.. I just don't know what to do.. I can only sent my bank statements as I am using VCC, I have nothing like business registration and no invoices too.. I want to call them.. But.. it says number not it use when calling +18882211161 and +1-402-935-2050. So... how can I call them now??? I want to insult them hard.....,... Please.. let me know what is good for me! Did you sign up as a Paypal Business account ? If so, you need to be a registered business or an incorporated company. If you have not done so, go register with your local chamber of commerce so as to make your business legal. If you only signed up for a Paypal Premier account then explain that to Paypal that a Premier account holder does not need to be a registered business. I believe that you know when you are selling products or services, you will need to take the standard procedure of issuing invoices, receipts and shipping documents. If you do not have such documents then it would look like you are not doing legal business. You also cannot use a VCC to verify your paypal account. You have to use a bank issued credit card to verify your account because a VCC basically defeats the whole purpose of verification. I suggest you add a real credit card to your paypal account before they limit or ban your account for life. Make sure that all your details you submitted during sign up and all the documentations you faxed them are real and unedited. Also ensure that you are of legal age ie above 18 years old otherwise you would be violating your contractual agreement with paypal.
I signed up as a Personal account holder, then.. I upgraded to Premier account and within few days I requested them to downgrade my account to Personal and they did that. Now.. My account is personal.. so, this means that I am not doing any business and infact I left all my business. However, I was doing web designing and for this you don;t have to ship or send any products. You just have to sent the files via email and upload them to the server. Well... when it comes to VCC, I already mailed them that I have no CC now and I used to have one. So, I requested to remove my cc linked to PayPal. No reply.. All the documents were real and no modification was done to them and everything is on my father's name and he has allowed me to do that. So, the account name, VCC, Bank account, all the documents and each and every stuff is in my Father's name.. He knows that! btw, Are you a staff member of PayPal??
you can try to chek out there contact us column or the faq section where you may find a sloution or an email adress where you can send your query. it is better to get this problem resolved at the earlist.
It is possible that they found the documents which you sent earlier to be suspicious under further investigation. As long as you did everything above board and did not violate any terms of your contractual agreement and did not violate the acceptable usage policy, you should be cleared soon.
I am not a staff of Paypal. If you downgrade to a personal account then you cannot engage in any business activities which would include receiving money for your web design work because that is deemed as business and you need a premier or business account for that. Basically, you cannot use a personal account to make money for any reasons. Perhaps that is why you got limited. Even if you do web design, you are supposed to issue Invoices to your customers. It is just part and parcel of doing business. You can send email invoices too as that is an acceptable business practise now. As for the Credit Card Statement, they might be referring to the credit card which you removed. Just fax them the last credit card statement or your bank's confirmation of your credit card termination.
But.. how? They aren't replying any email now.. I don't even know there working phone numbers... Another thing is, they want me to confirm the bank account. And when I click 'Resolve', they are asking me to Remove the present bank account and Add it again. But..the REMOVE button is gone since my account is limited. Now, how can I remove the bank account? btw, I have also withdrew some money to my bank account and the funds reached my bank account safely!
I have left all my business since I have downgraded my account. The reason is, I have no time and I am earning enough from AdSense.. But.. I just send money to some of my friends and even they send me. This is just personal transfer which is okay with personal account!!
well even my account was limited due to fraudulent transactions reported in my account I had say send theme the documents Practically, you don't have a choice. Your account will remain limited until you send "verification" documents. Just fax the documents required again. Cool? I sent my passport copy and that was enough.
Dude! This is second time and I had no fraudlent activities in my account. I have no inconvieniece to send the documents. But, they are asking for some documents which I don't have and what about the bank account confirmation. How can I remove a bank account without any link or button to remove?
