Well I've been using paypal for 5 years and I encountered no problems with it but just a few days ago when I logged into my paypal account I received this: So basically what should I do now? I offered my service to someone on another site because she wanted me to design a website for her and she wanted to buy a traffic package from me. The whole deal was $300 USD but she said she didn't want to go first so I told her to pay me half first and when I've completed the website for her and send her my traffic, she will pay me $150 and if she is satisfied, she can pay me the other half. Hence what happened was I send her all the files...etc, but an hour later I receive this email from paypal. I've no idea what's going on, I believe I got scammed from a chargeback case but the problem is paypal said I am not allowed to appeal to this case and it was believed to be a third party access. Now I am annoyed as I've like around $3753.30 in my account but I cannot send any money over or receive any money. I am a website buyer/seller and this affects my business a lot. Paypal has give me till the 2nd of May to respond to this and I've the following options: Please help me if anyone can help me solve this, I will offer you all a commission.
You have to follow all the requirements they asked for first, no matter what. Right or wrong Sending email through the PayPal system is useless. 100% waste of time. It’s just sent off to India and you will get a cut and paste reply over and over. There is absolutely NO point in sending an email through the system. If you get a reply it will be of no help, sorry Once you complete all the requirements they ask, and again you must, no matter what, than you need to move this to a higher power. *Any email BEFORE you clean everything up is of no use. Send a detailed email, explaining situation and show that you have completed all the requirements asked. If it means refunding money to a crappy buyer, maybe bite the bullet. If you can ride this out, fight it a bit harder but you wont see your money for 6 months or more. If you want it fast, you will need to bend over. Be polite and professional! They get a million nasty emails a day and just toss them. Send it every day until you get a reply. **Include a phone number so an executive officer can call you. When they call, they will help! executiveoffice@paypal.com Now this is important: Once you get limit lifted, get your money out and move on!! Your account now is red flagged and a single chargeback will lock it up. And then it will be harder and harder to unlock. I’m afraid to say that your PayPal days are over. Start making other plans for payment immediately! Do what they ask, do it fast, get your money and move on. Your PayPal account will be nothing but a nightmare from now on no matter how hard you try to keep things smooth. One jerk does a premature chargeback or a shady customer and it will get locked fast. Even though you haven’t done anything wrong its done, sorry. Bottom line, do what is asked, even if you are sure you are in the right. They don’t care. Do it fast. Get hold of someone at the executive office and forget the PayPal email system. Get your money out and move on. And the process won’t be fast, sorry…. Hope some of that helps! Good luck
60 views but the only reply comes from someone's first post on DP. Thank you so much for your advice. I'll follow on it. But is there any way I can debate in the resolution centre so I won't lose my hard-earned money? Thanks.
PayPal is a service designed to create a regular income for script kiddies and phishers. It works by having a central database of n00bs that contribute cash to a fund. This fund is then distributed to the script kiddies via spoofed email scams of a very lame nature. Sample Email from PayPal Dear Sir and Madam: This email is not a scam. We need you to login to your paypal donation fund account so we can steal your money. If your account is not verified within 24 hours, some shit gonna go down real bad. We hope you can be co-operative with our request at this time. Please click on the IP address website below. Thank you, PayPal Admin. Sample No.2 Paypal has been known to target many members of the Gangster, Wigger, and the Australian race. In order to be more "hip", the idiots at Paypal may send you the following email. Dear dawg, ho/ momma/ or cow Yo yo yo, some shiat be goin down in our databases yo ! Hellz yeah, Dem Paypal Bitches PayPal operators If you have any problems setting up your PayPal donation fund, you may telephone a PayPal operator directly. If you live in the United States, your call will be answered by a trained chimp on LSD. They are efficient and highly skilled, better than the Indians who answer at AT&T and Sprint. You will be giving a poor script kiddie plenty of his own East European currency when you sign up to PayPal. If you live in Europe, your call will be transferred to a nondescript Asian country where you will be teaching English to a poor child with every phone call. Whilst they will not understand words such as "account", "money", or "fuckwit", at least you will have the joy of knowing that your money is in safe hands... Passwords Passwords are redundant on PayPal, as the whole point is to make it easy for people to acquire your cash. Just use the password "PayPal" (case sensitive) for any account. Brutal Efficiency of PayPal No-one has ever yet had a problem with PayPal and lived to tell about it. The service is so well run, efficient and highly organized, with fully trained, intelligent staff that is it unlikely to ever happen. However, in the remote possibility that an actual problem should ever occur, it is best to write a complaint to one of those businessmen from Nigeria who run banks; they will be very happy to take care of your money just as well. Closing your account Naturally, PayPal will not let you do this. Attempting to follow the "Close your account" link will result in either a page telling you that you are not allowed to, or a series of screens demanding information why, and telling you that it's a bad idea, and asking "Are you sure" at least three times.
you have to do exactly as they say otherwise your account will stay limited. dont try anything illegal cause you will risk having your account deleted.
The only solution in your case to get rid of the limitations, is to provide them with any thing they ask for even if they are requesting documents... instep to get your account full access back
