Paypal Keeps Declining HDFC NETSAFE CARD!

I tried to pay with HDFC netsafe Virtual credit card via paypal..but transaction is declining...anyone can help me find a way to contact HDFC netsafe department..paypal is showing the following message.."please contact your card provider"

You need to consult your bank regarding this.

If possible, please contact Pay-Pal too to know more about this problem.

 

I think HDFC VCC is not working anymore but one of my friend inform me that HDFC Debit Card working with PayPal
All you have to just call Customer care / Login to ur net banking account and Activate International Payment in that Card

 

use ICICI debit virtual and credit card its working on paypal

I added my HDFC international debit card to PayPal, and it's working.

It was not working before a year. But it's working now. I think HDFC bank have done something for this.

 

I created Netsafe Virtual credit card from HDFC International Debit card(Platinum) but i can"t pay..

 

Netsafe Virtual credit card not working for me too.
I added the international debit card info directly on PayPal.
Paypal took $1 first & in next step $1.95. I got a 4 digit code by checking from online banking for the $1.95.
inserted into PayPal & debit card got verified. I'll get back the amount to bank account in 3 to 5 days.
You should try it. If you need any help ask me.

 

Tried it and the routine message of Paypal familiar to majority of Indian account holders..
"The bank that issued your card didn't approve this transaction. Please contact the card issuer's customer service department if you have any questions. Or you can add a different card now to continue."

 

How to activate International payment after login to netbanking account?..

Click on Debit cards menu >>
>> Set International / Domestic Usage
Choose >> Card to be enabled for International and Domestic Use (At domestic & international merchant outlets, ATMs & Online Websites)

Don't know why it's not working for you. My card was also by default enabled for International and Domestic Use.

 

Does HDFC Bank charges 3.5% markup on Foreign Currency Conversion with International Debit Card when paying on Paypal?

 

Yesterday paid using Paypal, for $11.99 costed ₹751
Today paid using HDFC International debit card, for $11.99 costed ₹721
So it costed ₹30 extra for using PayPal.

 

i am having problem with linking the hdfc debit card, i have enabled international and domestic option by netbanking.
may i know how did you linked your debit card.

No, I don't think 3d secure is enabled. Don't know why you got problem.

 

3d secure is where you have to put additional pin after you have put card info[1)card no. 2)exp date. 3)cvv.]
3d secure is where you get the pin[mostly OTP (one time pin)] in your registered cell no.
in simple words do you have to input 4th info(pin) besides 1)card no 2) exp date 3) cvv no?? before making any payment(paypal or any other)
if none of the above sounds familiar then you dont have 3d secure enabled.
plz let me know for sure if you have 3d secure enabled
