I recently had my PayPal Account Limted. Apparently I violated their TOS. Digital Products. I write and could not prove shipment...so I got screwed. Is there a service that is better for freelancers. I really need a way to get paid.

You may try Alertpay or moneybookers. Both are good but does not have a customer base as large as Paypal!

It all depends on where you live....there are other payment alternatives.

I've had a good experience with AlertPay. It's really easy to use, but you have to get used to it.

PayPal is a pain in the backside when it comes to digital goods - they really need to sort it out as there is a massive market for a reliable payment portal!

Try monybookers or alert pay, though they are not available in every country but risk of getting screwed is minimum as compared to PayPal.

    Thanks

    Use Liberty Reserve ;)
     www.libertyreserve.com
    Code (markup):
No chargebacks, no lame TOS, never limits users accounts etc.
Paypal really sucks big time for sellers.

My paypal account is verified. The issue arose when I had a customer wanting a refund but I already submitted my work. I offered to correct any work done, but they did not want that. So they opened up a claim and then paypal told me that I have to prove shipment.

Since I email my product, that was not really possible. They then said due to a security check I had to supply all kinds of paper work. Which I did and everything is fine, but I really do not want to go through this again.
