Hello guys, its my first post in digitalpoint! Yes thats true, paypal is shutting down in my country and I dont know why.. Now I have to register PayPal and when I register in another locations to PayPal, the website is asking for identity and after that my account is being disabled. Help me with what can I do please.. Sorry for bad english
PayPal is sending a pretty clear message that they don't want your business, the "why" is irrelevant. There are other means of doing business online - sign up with them.
Paypal only wants you to register in the country that you reside. Which country are you from and why are they cutting off your country?
@LilibethSantos - he's from Turkey and he's said he hasn't found out why. It's all semantics anyway. By trying to trick PayPal he's committing fraud which makes him even less attractive to the next card processing country - and reinforces PayPal's decision not to do business with people from that country.
Actually, reason finance ministry can not agree with PayPal about taxes and about sharing Turkish member informations. The ministry wants to audit the Turkish users and PayPal is against it (Paypal does not want to share information about users). For this reason Paypal announced can not work with turkey.. My problem is to find another way to use PayPal.
So now you know the why, that's something I guess. You won't be able to find a workaround that is legal. Fraud isn't something you need on your criminal record - it will impact on your future business dealings and your ability to travel to other countries.
I don't believe paypal would limit Turkey, it is a damn big country with so many subscribers and stuff to sell.
Hi, Why don't you try moneybooker? Also, make a group of people like you in Facebook, you can try here and request finance ministry about this issue. Maybe they can sort it out.
