    Hello,

I am an unverified user of Paypal. I have been trying to get a Credit card and it is still going to take time.

I was withdrawing 500$ for the last couple of months as this is my monthly limit. Now all of a sudden Paypal has stopped all my limits, and when I wrote to their Customer Service Centre, they said to add Credit card before I can withdraw the next funds.

I have still the Total withdrawal amount pending for Unverifed user. Why are they stopping me to withdraw 500$ monthly ? Has anyone faced such problem, if so what is the possible solution. I require funds urgently and the Credit card is going to take some time to add in Paypal Account.

Indian users = Which is the fastest bank providing me Credit card in few days? Any idea please?

    Thanks

    Gopalgkb,

If you already withdraw $3000 from your unverified paypal account then you can't further withdraw any amount from your paypal account as withdrawal limit for unverified paypal account is $3000 for lifetime.

Regarding your second question go for hdfc or icici which suits you better for applying credit card. All credit cards available lifetime free IMO. Check with them for this before apply. ;)

As far as I know, the limits of withdrawal is dependent on the country and on Paypal's discretion when it comes to unverified accounts. If they deem you as suspicious then they have the rights to protect their customers. If you are unverified, they cannot be sure who you are.

If you have reached your withdrawn limits , you can't withdraw anymore. Add a credit card or go for VCC .

    Hello all,

Thank you for your answers and suggestions.

The most unfortunate part is that I have not reached the total withdrawal limit of 3000$ for unverified users. I am still miles away from it.

I think I messed it up by repeatedly trying to post IDBI ATM-cum-International card having VISA logo on it. All the way I was keeping on trying every day thinking that I am doing something wrong. Only after I posted the question in this forum, I realised that Indian Debit cards may not work with Paypal. Alas, I was too late. Probably that made them suspicious.

One of the reasons of rejecting my application for Credit card with ICICI Bank earlier was that my residential address is not under their servicable area. I live in the outskirts of my city, now, it would be foolhardy to change my
residence for the want of this Credit card :) Any input in this please ?

Thank you once again for your valuable time spent on my query.

    Regards

    gopalgkb
