I am Marco. I do some SEO works as a freelancers, so paypal is a prime requirement for me. In my country paypal is not allowed. So, I am using one of my relative's paypal account who lives in Italy. He is doing job in Italy.

Recently, paypal asked me to confirm some information, but I am confused what to select :

"EU regulations require us to confirm your account information.

    • What is your ownership type?
      1. An individual consumer refers to any individual or household that is not a legal entity, such as a company, partnership, charity or government entity.

(If you’re a non-registered partnership, you’ll need to select sole proprietor)
    2. A sole proprietor (What's this? Ans: A sole proprietor is a business owned and run by one individual where there is no legal distinction between the owner and the business. A sole
proprietor may also use a business name other than his or her legal name.)

    3. Any other type of business, charity, or government entity (What's this? Ans: Excluding sole proprietors, this refers to any type of legal entity, such as a company,
    partnership, charity or government entity.)"

Please help me, which one should I select to solve this issue. Need Expert's suggestion keeping an eye to EU regulations.

You should select Individual Consumer. Sooner or later the account will get limited as you are using a PayPal account in an unsupported country, you better stop.

If you choose #2 you'll have to supply a USA Social Security #. If you choose #3 you'll need to supply a Tax ID #. #1 I believe is your only choice.
