    We will have to go through only(!) 1 more (hopefully) painful procedure of getting a CC. That should be sufficient for us to do the business without hassles.

    Most countries, if not all, allow you to deduct expenses while paying taxes. You don't have to pay it on $1,000- you only need to pay it on $500.

    Try out as few bank's offer CC against FD. Not sure about current scenario but Axis bank and Icici bank provided CC in past if you have an FD with them. Check with their branch near to you.

    get a frigging vpn with a dedicated i.p , from u.s or u.k , make a fresh a/c , verify via vcc , use that to receive and send funds , the funds u want to withdraw to your Indian bank a/c send them to that paypal id . end of story , it's the frigging INTERNET and Indian govt still does not it cannot be controlled.

    I think Paypal should atleast make people with Debit cards to make purchases online and everyone cant afford a CC.

    An Indian goes for security check-in at John F. Kennedy International Airport with a basket full of crabs. The basket cover comes off, and the security officer asks this chap to cover it off before they escape. It’s time that Paypal loosens its purse string and it won’t be difficult for them to find solution in a country which ranks 64 (worldaudit.org/corruption.htm) in corruption.

    This is complete news to me! I have not received any e-mails so far and so is completely bowled over... by this thread!
    This step is going to create unnecessary hassles and would incur us an additional expense in the form of currency conversion cost... for each transaction! :mad:
    It appears RBI wants all credits and debits to happen in our bank account... since it is finding it tough to keep an eye on our account statement in Paypal! :(

    There are a lot of problems paying using CC through paypal. Paypal is much more strict when u pay using CC and many a time payment do not get through and paypal blocks our CC. Also using only CC means we can no longer do mass payment.

    It's time for us to switch our government. This government instead of being a facilitator for employment generation is a roadblock for India to be a technology superpower of the 21st century
