Google checkout is not like PayPal where you can just send anyone payments. You can only use it to pay for qualified merchants who own eCommerce sites.

If your delivering the item locally, Whats wrong with him paying you with cash or a bankers draft? If that was me I would deffinately not be using paypal If im actually delivering the item personally.

It is only a matter of time till Google checkout integrates features like Paypal or simply buyout a company that has the same technology and implements their own payment system. You know big G has the money :) and it is only a matter of time that they will probably do this.

Another reason why the are probably banned on eBay currently as a payment processor. When this happens. It will be the ultimate "Google slap" to a well deserving company like Paypal for all the hassle and ringers they ask people to go through to get verified and deal with the hassles of having a Paypal account.

well i don;t think they can still take it away from you but they can limit account access so you can;t deposit in your bank account if you get a large sum. So in that way they kind of can...happened to me when I was dropshipping real expensive items for the first time.

Paypal gets alot of bad press, but, I have yet to have a problem with them. Been suing them for just over a year and I have no complaints. Other than that they only started accepting my local bank account a few months ago.

I had a very nice experience with paypal.com. A fraud promised me to provide a Hindi movie DVD download for 2$. So I decided to try it. But he never sent me the link to download. Initially I thought its just 2$ I lost. But then I came to know about their fraud policy. I put up the case before Paypal team and after a month I got my 2$ back. They gave that fraud full time to provide the proof. But he was not able to do it.

So its just about the proofs. Only the frauds worry about the transactions with paypal. If you are carrying out a genuine transaction there is no worry.
