Hi, Let's make this short and dandy! 1. An invoice came to my email. It is from the hosting service I used. They asked me to pay them X USD for my yearly hosting plan. 2. Paypal Balance: 0 USD. Linked bank account: way less than X USD in it. No credit card linked. 3. Called my friend. Told him that I have X USD in my wallet, and I am willing to buy his Paypal fund. 4. Met my friend, paid him X USD, and he promised to send me the X USD asap once he got home. 5. 3 hours later. My friend called, and he said that he has sent me X usd through his Paypal fund to my Paypal account. 6. I quickly paid the invoice. And yes everything went smooth. The invoice is paid! Good news, right? NOPE. 7. Just realized after I paid that when the invoice is paid, I have 0 USD in my Paypal fund! Paypal let the transaction realized(and completed) because it is going to charge my -almost- penniless bank account!!!! 8. 15 minutes later, the X USD my friend promised came to my Paypal account. 9. 4 hours has passed, and here I am writing this thread. Now the question is: Will I be in trouble? What I mean trouble is something like: Limitation, Account Frozen, etc. It is not hard to resolve limitation. But it takes time! What if I have to make some purchase thru my Paypal? Anyway. Thanks for reading!
PP is done. you had 0 money, you friend sent you the amount to pay the bill and PP got 4% on that transfer. you then paid the bill and now you are back to zero, with the bill paid. you solved the problem. PP won't charge anything further. they only get 4% on received payments. so to have a zero balance is ok. why worry?
They never charge from your bank account. If invoice is paid, then no need to worry. Paypal will not limit or Freeze your account.
