Paypal Help needed

    Hi,
    Iam indian and i got paypal business account and its verified.When i go to add a bank account there is no option for adding account name.The only option is got is country,IFSC and Ac no.so how can i add my bank account here.
    Help me.

    I'm not Indian, but do have a friend in India who has an account. I asked him about this post and he said that PayPal assumes that the "business account name" and the "bank account name" is the same. That this is a fraud protection system of Paypal's.

    Have you contacted Paypal?

    You can't open savings account with the business name IMO. You have to open current account for that. Sorry but don't know much about business account as using individual account till now.

    well for paypal, your name on paypal account is the one used for bank account.. as other member said, this is to make sure you are the owner of the paypal and the bank account.

    i have a business paypal account but i add my SBI saving account.... the bank name is selected from the drop down list i guess... and there are 2 fields... one is bank account number and the other one is IFSC code... and your done.... that is how i added my saving account into my business paypal and withdraw cash to test it...

    IFSC is unique for every Indian bank..Its actually Indian Financial System Code ..check for your bank code from this very link from ICICI banks.
    ebusiness.icicibank.com/imarkets/products/tb/gb_RcvingFund.asp     by adding http:// in the beginning or just paste it as such in your browser address bar. After getting your bank's IFSC put that in the paypal's bank account information and also fill your account number from your bank-book. Just be careful about your name and other information, as it should be the same in both your paypal account as well as in the bank account you are going to withdraw your money. You will not be receiving your paypal balance if the information doesn't match..like, if you fill the bank account of some from your family member and the paypal account carries your name..Don't worry, its not that difficult, you will be getting your money in a week or so..
