PayPal Help Needed: Refunding $ payment using GBP

    Hi,
I have a $ balance in my account. And I have to issue a refund in GBP. When I try to refund (hoping that PayPal will take care of the conversions), it says, "Your refund must not exceed your available balance. If you have funds in another currency balance, you may want to consider transferring funds from other currency balances."

And I do not find any conversion/transfer options. What do I do?

    Thanks
    Ajeet

Based on your email to me, I take it that it's me you're looking to pay. I think you have to exhaust your sterling balance first by sending it all to me. Then do a 2nd transaction to use the dollar balance.

Or do the conversion and send me the dollars. You and I have done thousands of dollars worth of business, I'm not going to cry if this refund is a few pounds short :)

There is no way, I will send you a few pounds short :) There is actually a deep-hidden option to force convert currency. Unfortunately, the two way conversion cost me over $200! But that is the price of doing business. Thanks for offering to accept a few pounds short :)

Seriously, you sweat too much over the little stuff. And don't worry about the delay, I've got enough to pay for food for a few days ;)

Oh, yeah, split that $200 with me, I did get some benefit from part of the work being done.
