As some of you know, I was offering myspace advertising and had some unhappy customers which i refunded them. I asked them to file a claim so that it would be easier to refund. I had nearly 10 claims and refunded all of them and then paypal limited my account because of these claims and started to invastigate my account (10th of april). I've faxed them what they asked for and they said it is not enough and asked for tracking information for all of the payments which I didn't have because I WAS NOT SELLING GOODS. Well it took a week for them to understand this, well okay they still didn't get it.. I've called Paypal 3 times and told them that i refunded those customers BEFORE you limited my account but they again didn't care and today they I've received an email telling that I have 2 options.
1- I will refund all of the customers ($2k)
2- I won't use my account for another 6 months then they will invastigate it again.

Well I never thought pp would be such an ass but now I now.

Well, you messed up big with a banking institution. They aren't just "stealing" you money. I am sure there is a reason they need $2K.

Hope everything works out for you and you take more care in your next transactions.

It doesn't make it easior at all. Add you had to do was send the money back to them, then PayPay probably would of had no idea this happend. Yep, let PayPal know you got unhappy payers sure is the way to go...if you want to make them hate you and take your account!!!

PayPal thinks ur a fraud and needs time to investigate on this. I would do the same if I was PayPal. Give them some time bro.

Investigation is over.. They asked me to refund ALL of the money in my account or don't use it for 180 days. I called them again and told them the situation again and again so they asked for more documents.. I will fax them again. Don't know if this will be over..

This had happened to me when a person bought my services and then informed Paypal that he dint receive the services. Paypal wont be bothered to check and will let such one off situations with an account. In your case its been 10 ppl not satisfied with your stuff. This definetely raises an eyebrow. They might not be investigating really but want u to be off their program for some time ...maybe to make u feel tht ur guilty and also make a good name for themselves.

Newsflash: Just sending money to there E-mail address is the fastest way. No need to ask them for anything, and they don't have to even let PayPal know!! :D

Here's a little step by step for giving a refund. :D

1. Click 'Details'.
2. Get the E-Mail address from 'Email'.
3. Click the 'Send Money' link at the top.
4. Send them the money!!

EUREKA!!!!!!!

er, make up your mind. Yes, it's over. No, I don't know if it's over!!! :D

I dont deal with big money on paypal anyway to avoid losing big money. Never have more than 1k in my paypal account at once. I just call it from the bank when i need it or credit card.

That someone can blatantly say they had no information to refund the money, so tells them to file a claim???
Paypal account history has all payment, etc in nice order.

Somehow, I think the whole thread starter here is just yanking chains.

PP makes about $600 off me... EVERY MONTH! The fees are a bit on the high side if you ask me, but what else is there?

Have you tried contacting them?

Did someone actually buy your services to hack this forum?
Then when you didn't, they asked for their money back?
