    Hi
If some one knows my paypal password, will they be able to log in and make any kind of payment?
As it turns out , some one has made a payment of 35$ USD to a certain Mark Roman.

How is this possible. How did they know my password on the first place?

I am highly confused. Please reply if you have any sugestion.

    Thanx
    Anamul

    Yea sure they can.

Now change your password right away and file a chargeback!

Most likely you got virus on your pc.

I guess all you have to do is change important info of your paypal including password secret answer etc and install some goo antivirus and do a full PC Scan

Don't click any e-mail links they use spoofed webpages to get our passwords.

Thanx a lot for your feedback guys. It seems I will have to format the whole PC and re-install everything first.
I am filing a complain to paypal right away. At least they should ask for more info when some one try to make a payment.

Why should they ask for more info.. Infact many people send and recieve money via Paypal each day and if they would ask each time .. It would certainly create a mess.

^ It would be better if they ask some more info like a secondary password or date of birth etc when making a payment. It will improve the security.

Make sure you don't have the same passwords for various accounts, and always change them often.

Either you have been phised or keylogger installed in your PC. Beware

Yes, they can make any type of payment they wish, they can even add funds from your added bank account or credit card, change account details etc.

It is most likely you had an insecure password, had your account phished or had a virus placed on your computer

File a claim back, call paypal and get everything sorted out right now before any more transactions appear etc. Also change your password SQA etc.
