Hey, Just dont worry on why your paypal got limited. Its simple, they are just asking how you received money, and for what purpose.

Just call paypal, and just explain how you receive money, and for what purpose. They will unlimit your account instantly back. I have good experience with them.

They just limited your acc, because they just what to know on what purpose you receive money, so just call them, and speak to them, and say them the reason.

I am damn sure 100% they will remove your limit instantly.

 

It happened once to me. Just submit the documents they want. If you want that made quick, make a call and that will speed the things up.

As everyone has already said, a phone call is your best bet to resolve this quickly, BUT...

I will warn you - despite it's wide use and easy availability to get, PayPal is by far the WORSE payment processor I have ever dealt with, and I continually hear horror stories from fellow marketers and many of my students.

Poor customer service, no clear dispute process if you're a merchant, and they have this nasty little habit of liking to keep your money because of "suspicious" activity. Their refund policy is a joke and if you're doing anything digital you might as well put a gun to your head.

You'd be MUCH better off getting a REAL merchant account like Authorize.net, Linkpoint or even one through a bank.

I agree.

I started Using Paypal years ago, they have always done things like this, they once "lost" £500 GBP of mine, and "found" it again a couple of weeks later, no explanation as to what had happened to it, no apologies. I got the money back, but the way they treated me was NOT as a client or customer, it was as if they were doig me a favour anyway by allowing me to use their incredible service....

This appears to have grown even more so since eBay purchased paypal - now they act even more like a play ground bully!

I would advise that you look at other options, including Google checkouts.

they are notorious for limiting accounts

 

you should try to proof them of whatever you can and give them all info such as ID card , passport. Hoping that you will get your account back.

That wouldn't happen to be "The Bank Of Nigeria" would it? just messing with you, Just call them and give them the info they need. If you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to worry about... verify your address and they will unlock it.....

 

Call them it is much easier... just saying... been there done that...

 

I am on kind of same situation . Recently I was purchasing a domain from Namecheap.com .
I tried to add funds in my Namecheap account with Paypal but when i was adding funds , Paypal reversed my payment and put limitations on my Paypal account ,
now I can not send money from my account .
My Paypal account was verified with Bank account , I don't have Credit Card .
When I contact with Paypal customer support , they said -
"you can resolve the limitation by providing a proof of ID and a bank account statement if you do not have a credit card."

I am from Bangladesh and the bank account I used for verification purpose is my Uncles account who live in Netherlands .
Now I am thinking what should I do ...

Using Paypal in Bangladesh is really a matter of headache .

 

It seems paypal pays their employee salary through the amount stored in locked or limited paypal accounts, i was also once in that situation and lost nearly $100 finally after waiting for more than 180 days ( it is their limitation duration) it was automatically removed and i got a mail about that, immediately i had purchased something for that amount ) lol) and requested closing of that account.....

Paypal limits many accounts in a day it is becoming their business ethics and policy to store some amount for rotation, its useless processor.
