FYI if you use PayPal to let members buy account upgrades: https://www.dailywire.com/news/new-...users-accounts-if-they-promote-misinformation Shouldn't be a problem for most folk, but their terms are vague and subjective, so they basically reserve the right to fine anyone for almost anything.
Looks like PayPal execs don't like eggs in their face and someone likely got the big time chew ass. They are backpedalling now. https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy...promoting-misinformation-sent-error-spox-says
Fining customers seems to be an overreach. Either you want our business or you don't. Playing judge and jury isn't what they're there for. An interesting thread following on from a FB post I was just reading about how Telsa apparently disable their vehicles if the owners talk negatively about the brand. I chipped in with how Toyota must wish they could disable theirs when they see terrorist militias driving their Hilux utes. Private companies need to be very careful about where the line is that will protect their brand and retain customers. Paypal understandably want to protect their brand but when do they end up losing the trust and confidence of their good customers?
move to bitcoin. if it happens you dont have funds, paypal is going to take 2500$ from your linked bank account.
