hello, If we have already verified paypal account then if we want to add new credit card to paypal then that credit card also needs to be validated and we have to find expuse code and so on? OR Can we use it directly by just attaching it ?

Hi All, 4 questions. 1. When I add a CC in my Paypal account for withdrawl, do I need to add it with the hyphens/spaces or should I enter it continuously (all 16 digits at once) 2. Can I withdraw money from CC using ATM (I have HDFC Platinum CC). How much can I withdraw on a monthly basis / daily basis (if possible) and what are the transaction charges. 3. Can I transfer to my Savings account from Credit Card account using HDFC Net Banking. If so how much can I transfer daily and what are the transaction charges? 4. What is the CC - credit limit for a HDFC Platinum card (Just ordered one 3 days back) Please help me in these details as PP and RBI seem to be holding out all our money now and everyone is uncertain of the fact, till when is this drama going to continue. Last year we had 26/11 and this year we have 26/1/2010 - only difference, here people are mentally traumatized and given pain, no bloodshed though.

Answer. 1. all 16 digit at once .no space no hyphens. 2.U can withdraw ur money from ur cc via atm as cash advance. in this case fees attacks per transaction - 250 - 300 or 3.5$ of the total withdraw whichever is higher. Ur cash limit will be decided by the desired bank. 3.no u cant. 4.The limit will be decided by bank depending of ur Income tax/ or salary slip. thanks. hehe
@INDIAN123 Thanks for the quick info. I wish we could transfer from CC to Savings account, then even Bank withdrawl wouldn't be necessary. Forget the $5 fees, we cannot trust Paypal and RBI too now, because they make amendments as and however they desire and do not see the consequences that it would have on customers and members. Moreover, Paypal should have submitted the necessary documents earlier itself. They would have thought... Personally I feel this is not possible as the VCC gets closed after 24 hours and it clearly states while creating HDFC netsafe card, please do not use where you have to produce the physical plastic card. So, if Paypal asks for proof then you're screwed and then they might implement too many security checks. So guys, whoever trying with VCC, please stop, you are opening doors for more problems in the future. Paypal is here to stay, but do not make it difficult for everyone to use it. Just have patience. @salaxzar I just called up HDFC customer care for Credit card. They said that VCC cannot receive incoming funds. IT can only be used for transactions online. I even read the paypal website. If the CC withdrawl is reversed, they charge $10 return charges. So, if the VCC method does not work for HDFC netsafe cards, we might end up losing $15 ($5 processing and $10 return charges). If you have personally used it please post some screenshots. If your friend, relative, schoolfriend, girlfriend, boss, colleague, neighbour, or even your pet has tried it, then please ask them to send the screenshots, so that everyone here can benefit from it. Else without proof, no one would dare to even make an attempt. Thanks
Ofcourse the customer care wont know anything...They are noobs.. Some people have been successful with kotak netcards..My netsafe cards are MC's so i cant try myself... Its upto you , i am not here forcing anyone to do anything..
Buddy, If you cud atleast show some screenshots from the person who has given you that info, showing the deposit being made by using Kotak vcc then it would clear everyone's doubts. And regarding the customer care, I too know they are pathetic, but ultimately if there are issues with our account, we have no where else to go to. I hope you agree
Btw,I am checking the currency conversion rate from the time that Xoom has stopped withdrawl by paypal, the rate keeps increasing by the day and drops in the night. surely Indian $$ in paypal account have a huge impact on the Global economy. Still not able to understand why we are considered to be among the Semi-developed countries.
