Paypal for Indians - Exact address match required on credit cards?

Due to some stupidity of certain bank people, my credit card has a slightly different PIN (postal) code than the one I have indicated in Paypal.

In addition, the rest of the address is also ever so slightly different. For example, the street name is on the second line vs. the first.

A human looking at the two addresses would probably conclude they are the same, but what I'm afraid of is Paypal's automatic software comparison throwing up a false flag.

I guess I could add another address in Paypal, but I'm afraid to do that, too, thinking that multiple addresses cause the Paypal software to flag as 'suspicious'.

What have other Indians using Paypal done, since Indian addresses are basically always a mess?

Exact address match is not required. I have a friend who's credit card & paypal addresses are in different cities. So relax :)

I'm wondering if they just say that a match is required in order to scare away the scammers.

i dont think it will cause any kind of problem since the name on the card is your... and the city and county are both same as paypal.... so paypal will think you move and wont do anything to your account...
