Paypal fee structure, why does same amount takes more?

    I had two $3.50 transactions from two different people. Paypal took out 0.40 from one of those transactions and the next they took out 0.44. Why the extra 4 cents in the same type of transactions?

    It depends on where the customers are from. If it is a different country, there may be cross-border fees to consider.
