    Hi,

I have a Paypal personal account. As far as I know, it is free to receive payment if the payment is funded with Paypal balance. Am I right?

What if my buyer has Paypal balance in Australia dollar, and they choose to pay me in eg USD, is it still FREE? or the usual 3.4%+0.30USD fee apply?

    Appreciate your assistance on this.

If they pay you in US$ (your base currency) then you get exactly what they supposed to send you, the sender would be the one who would need to absorb the conversion fees. However if they pay you in AUD$ and you only accept US$ then you pay the fees. It would be transparent to you as you will only see the resultant value.
