Hello everyone, First of all yes i know its against their terms of service blablabla, but my question is if this only includes the "paypal to" part. I understand the problems here, but what about the "to paypal" part? Like trade from egold to paypal or something like that. Is this against their terms or is there a way to avoid breaking their rules? Any info on this anyone? Thanks, NwS
As long as Paypal is involved, either 'TO Paypal' or 'FROM paypal' it would be against their policy. It is really just echoing the law about money laundering. However, I believe that there is the exception to the rule as long as the party which does the exchanges have a government-issued license to do currency exchange, something like what Xoom.com is doing. I am not sure about Greece but most countries, money exchanges are a highly regulated industry so Paypal's business is no difference. Incidentally, Moneybookers is the same too. The Government basically make the rules which these companies adopt.
Their use to be a site that did the exchanges for you, it was complicated but it got the job done, I think it was sued, if I can remember the site I'll give ya a link to it.
So we can not exchange paypal to other payment processor? If yes, that will be the bad thing about paypal. Untill now I also still search who can provide me an trusty exchange from paypal to libertyreserve or moneybooker. Please advise. Thanks.
It is true, you cannot do it because of the strict EU laws which governs such exchanges. It is just that the platform can so easily be used for money laundering. Why not just withdraw your money from Paypal then top up moneybookers or libertyreserve, that way is perfectly legal.
