Edit: i dont know if this is the correct place to post ... i dident saw it was under adsense cat ... if admin can change it to the correct ctgr .. thank's .

The current PayPal exchange rates are:

    $1.00 USD = $1.11 CAD

anyone know how paypal exchange rate works ?

the correct exchange rate is : 1.00 USD == 1.16 CAD

is it something fixed in paypal ? or it change ?

when i first started using paypal i said (0,55 cents are nothing for each sell , and also the % they take is not so much ..)

but i can see now that it can go very high ... with all those fee and exchange rates ..

exchange rates are based on "the market" (worldwide supply and demand) etc.

for-profit companies can offer "any" exchange rate they want to.

they don't "have to" follow the market that day or any other day.

they do tend to "follow thw market," so if the Canadian dollar is down versus the US dollar, then you can expect PayPal's exchange rate to reflect this and vice-versa.

Banks/Visa/MasterCard etc. tend to use "market rates," but PayPal is not a bank. :)

    cheers,
