Hope this is the right place to post, since it's about Paypal and this is about payment processing.

I have noticed a higher number of fraudulent email regarding Paypal recently.
At least once a day. Hope you guys know what to do with these email and how to recognize them as real or fake.
    Just be careful...

They are getting tricky about it aren't they? My spoofs say something like: You have made a payment to blahblah for blah blah.. To dispute this transaction click here. Normally it all looks for real until you put your cursor on the link and it has nothing to do with paypal.
I guess I should start sending them to spoof@paypal as well, as I get about one a day. BEWARE

Yes, they're getting very good. That's why I posted here.
I use to redirect to Paypal, but it's one a day now...I have other thing to do...

With, phishing becoming so widespread, you really have to be ignorant to fall for it.
Also all major windows browsers (ie7, fx2 and opera 9.1) has phishing protection. Opera users phishtank - a community powered system. Hence, its generally it works quite nicely.

Yeah, I get those all the time, but never to my paypal email address, so I know automatically that it is fraud. Its too easy to spot that crap, but they still spam everyone with it because some dumbass clicks on their link and provides false information. Sometimes i reply to phishing emails with bogus information to let them have a little fun with it and get nowhere. I have even gotten replys from people phishing that they do not want me to reply to their emails anymore. HAHA, dumbasses!

I've recently installed the paypal fake detector program, it has enabled me to surf without fear, because if it suspects a fake paypal page, there's a red button that alerts me. :D I recommend that you install it, and also double check the URL before ever typing any person information.
And always go to the main paypal website by typing the url directly and not clicking on it through a link. :D
