Can someone tell me if echecks can be cancelled once pending? Or any other risks?

    I'm currently waiting for one.
    Regards,

Dont cancel it. You willl get it confirmed in few days. It normally takes 5 days for it. I also once faced such situation. Well, need not worry and just wait, till it gets confirmed.

Yes. Your sender cancel it on there end anytime before clearing and i am 100% sure about this because once someone done same thing with me for amount $15 :( So if you know him/her verywell then only deliver goods otherwise wait till echeck cleared. Next time take care of that.

    DON.

eChecks are more dirty and good way to scam you.... so refund the echeck as soon as possible if it didnt clear after 4 days.... dont send your product untill its cleared or you will be sorrry....

Lol, I hate e-checks. I had a huge problem with them at one time. I payed someone with an e-check and the day it was supposed to clear, my bank didn't have enough funds:( I didnt get what I wanted plus I got charged $30 by the bank.

Ok fine, but what i didn't know is that they try to cash the e-check after a few days again! So yeh, I got charged another $30 by the bank, and a third time!! So I lost $90, and how wonderful that paypal only tried to cash it 3 times and not 30 times! BTW, there was no way, that i know, of canceling it:(

The person you sent the eCheque to can cancel it, but you can't. I know this because I asked Paypal via telephone.

    Dear XXXXXX,

This eCheck payment will remain "Uncleared" until the funds clear from the sender's account, which usually takes 7-9 business days. If you are shipping an item, please do not ship your item until the funds clear into your PayPal account. You will be notified by email when the funds clear into your PayPal balance.

    eCheck Details
    Amount: $400.00 USD
    Transaction ID: ************

this is the email after receiving e-check.

anybody know how much charge for paypal for 400$ ?
another Question who will confirm it? and how it will be confirm? why paypal need a lots of time to do that..
