Hi, my paypal dispute is about to close as seller has not responded to this dispute for 20 days and this dispute shall close tomorrow by paypal. Now what i am wondering is would paypal just send me my money back or will it just confiscate that amount or let seller keep it with him ? is there any thing to do on my part to ask paypal to refund money into my account or they will do it automatically ?
    Thanks

Can I get more information please.
Did you buy something or sell something?
Did you open the claim/dispute or was it the opposite person?

Sorry to highjack your thread but I actually have the same exact question. I sent a guy $45 on PayPal and he was supposed to send me back the same amount on Moneybookers. But he did not so I opened a dispute to get my PayPal amount back. Should I just escalate it or what ?

    Thanks.

@kaltek, Yes, of course, if he hasn't paid or kept his end of the deal then you should of course escalate to a claim.

@suzana, did you make sure that you escalated the dispute to a claim, also what type of product where you purchasing?

Escalate the dispute to a claim. The seller will then have 10 days to respond, if they don't - the money will be refuded to your account.

Yes, this is the solution. Hopefully like before if he doesn't answer in 10 days you will get your money back.

Hi that is not true.. there is no gurantee that you will get back all your money.. sometimes you win and the person only has a few cents in his account and thats all you get back.. if the person never recieves money inthere account again you will never get back your money..

Also whe you file the claim always say it a tangible good else paypal will just throw it out and you lose again..

the only way to get your money back if paypal does not do it for you is file a claim agianst your credit card company..

Take my word i have been through this before and learn form my mistakes i made above..

    Good Luck
