Paypal disputes

I was scammed 3 weeks ago for an amount and I filed my first ever Paypal dipsute.

Not only did they make me wait a WEEK for the scammer to respond (and in the meantime use my hard earned money for his sorry excuse of a life) and when I won, I was 'only able to recover $4'.

What kind of system does Paypal run? Are they trying to support scammers so they can eat your money? What's the point of winning a dispute if you have to wait for a week and recover next to nothing?

I got plenty of such experiences. It's very tough especially if you're selling digital goods. My advise:

    1) try to use the invoice function to send a money request to customer rather than they pay directly to your palypal email.

    2) Make them reply to you/email you using their PayPal email.

This will gives you strong evidence against any dispute claims. So far I've won all disputes that apply to both techniques above.

    Cheers,
