Paypal dispute

My client is claiming for a refund because i couldn't finish the articles which were to rewritten on time. So , its like he's angry and wants refund or wants me to write for him at cheap rates.
Unfortunately he escalated the issue to paypal and now its showing- either i show proof( i can't show it, no one can show proof for articles), or issue a refund.
Now, there's another twist. I just withdrew the money some days before and the balance was nil. Now it has become -$30

I can't show proof, and there's an option for 'issuing refund' , which i can't do.

Please help as to what i can do .

If he wins refund ur account becomes limited.. Sometimes paypal to get saved from negative balance will make u win the case or wont send the money to the other part till u have a positive balance

You will end the dispute and issue him a refund. It's the right thing to do unless you've done the work.

i think you need to issue a refund since you didnt give your buyer for what they have paid for... so issue refund.... and i dont see a point of taking the money before delevering the project.... i use to do custom programs but i never ask for money in advance and so both my buyer and me are happy... and i never lose any money when doing custom orders...

also if you keep the -tive balance for long time then paypal sure will contant you to recover the money... even you may face problems in real world like police may come to you depending in what country you are at... so becareful...

Issue a refund if it lets you, then deposit money from your bank to clear the negative balance.

I think you should contact the buyer and ask for some time. After you earn and then refund 30$.
