Hi I am selling digital products via e-junkie. Yesterday, someone bought one item and his payment arrived to my paypal account. Today when I logged to my account, I found an open dispute that requires my action. I am not sure what to do, should I click on resolve case? Here is the screenshot of my pp any answer is greatly appreciated
Paypal doesn't offer refunds for digital items. Just reply to PayPal that the item was purchased and delivered digitally through your store. If you two don't resolve the case between each other (nobody at PayPal has actually looked at it yet), then it'll get sent to PayPal for review and most likely instantly (again without anyone at PayPal reviewing it) get kicked back because they won't chargeback for digital items.
Thanks for your answer mdvaldosta, Do I need to click on resolve case to answer Paypal? or should i just use contact form?
That only applies if the buyer paid from their PayPal balance. If they used a credit card to fund the PayPal transaction then PayPal must abide by their Visa/MC/Amex agreement and cannot deny a refund based on it being a digital good.
Note that the PayPal letter does not say that the buyer initiated the dispute. It reads to me that PayPal is suspicious of the payment (thinks that the buyer is a scammer/used a stolen or invalid card etc...) and is investigating before releasing the funds to you. Reply to PayPal as requested with all your info on the transaction - what was bought, how it was delivered, confirmation emails, product link on your site etc...
You must click on resolve button and tell them what is going on or what happened like you've sent items digitally etc
first goto your resolution center and find out the steps to resolve it. do according to their requirement.they might need some kind of address proof verification
did everything as you have been saying guys, thanks. Now waiting for paypal this is not rtrue but you transfer it without problem
