Been thinking about using this as a way to withdraw some of my funds without paying for the privilege. Anyone have a PayPal debit card? What are your thoughts about it? Is it reliable? etc.
Well i don't have a debit card or even a verified CC.And i think its reliable since many people using that
I have had the card for about a year. It is exactly like any other credit card, so it is reliable. Remember to use it as a credit card and save the 1%. It adds up.
I have a "Premier" account, and also have the PayPal debit card. I believe this is a non-business account. I know someone else who I am sure has a non-business account who also has the card. As mentioned before, it's quick to get your cash from PP, no waiting for the transfer to your bank account. You can use anywhere a Debit or CC is accepted. PayPal does not charge a fee to get your cash from an ATM, but the owner of the particular ATM might charge anywhere from $1.50 to $4 (that I've seen thus far). The card is free. I would say just get one, and see how it works for you.
i wld classify premier w business because paypal has earned the 3%(?) from ur incoming fund transfer. what's the big deal w them returning u 1%.. but for personal accounts, they dun tax the transaction
I have a premier account but i dont have a business and yes i have the pp debit card and for some people the 1% add's up. Maybe some peopel dont need to worry about it but others do ok i am off my soap box. LOL have a good week all! Sheryl
I have a visa debit card issued to me by my local bank. I have already successfuly withdrawn some of my paypal funds from there.
PayPal debit card is good. You can access cash minutes after it is deposited into your PayPal account. Same as bank transfer, neither have fees, but much faster than waiting 3 days. Has a $400/day withdraw limit that cannot be increased. Make sure funds are there - if you try to withdraw more than is in your account the card gets blocked. Also if you make a mistake and try and cancel the transaction the card gets blocked. Phone PayPal and they will reset it.
I've had the debit card for about six months now. I use it in the Philippines, my dad sent me the card through Fedex. So far, no big problems yet except the $1 charge and only one bank allows withdrawal from PP debit cards. I have one question though, about the $400 limit - does this include payments that you sent out? I had bought a camera and when I tried to withdraw with the debit card, the transaction was canceled.
I've had one for a year and a half or so now. Best. Thing. Ever. I get paid by clients, I can walk down the street and buy groceries or pay bills instantly, and if I need to go get cash out of an atm it's simple. I've got a business account, it doesn't charge me except I think $1 to withdrawal from an atm. It's great, get one
