Hi all my credit card under my paypal account expired im getting a new one in a week is there any risk they would limit my account ?
The only thing that normally happens when a card expires is that when you buy something the seller gets an 'eCheque' instead of instant payment and has to wait 10 days for clearance, it happened to me once and is a major nuisance. It's a limit in one sense but it's not permanent. When you get your new card you may have to wait until it's verified before you can shop instantly again. I don't know what happens if you have a PayPal balance with money in it, you may be OK but don't quote me. Bummer eh, sorry if that's bad news for you.
I do not usually remove my expired credit cards from Paypal profile for personal reference, and there's no problem with that, as long as I do not attempt using them to pay with. So I think a week in your case is not a problem at all.
Sounds like to me you have funds since you're worried about getting limited. Just don't purchase anything or only use paypal funds when you make a purchase.
I dont think would be a problem to paypal .I have been with my expired credit card almost a year and paypal give me no warning or sued or what soever.it seems paypal really dont care about the card
Just don't use funds from your credit card to purchase stuff. I don't really use my credit card in paypal at all. Just collect payments from clients and withdraw. Cards are their for verification purposes only.
