When you make a payment say purchasing a item online via paypal verified will people see your confirmed address? Like some sites say they only ship to confirmed addresses but how do they see it if at payment i put: No shipping and i use the shipping address i made in the site instead. As long as it's same name for paypal and the site im purchasing it'll go thru?
The shipping address is what you signed up as your mailing address. If you set to No Shipping Address then it will not show up in their record. Once your account is verified, they will rely on that verified status. The Confirmed Mailing Address only works in the US and a few other countries so not to worry about it. Most people shouldn't have any problem dealing with a verified account. If it is a virtual item then the address is not an issue. If it is a physical item then they need to know where to send it. As long as the seller has proof of delivery then the buyer cannot claim his money back anyways.
oh, so i do not need to add a gift address if i were to ship to someone else? just put his address on the site and payment with no shipping in paypal.
Well, if it is through a shopping cart then I believe that should suffice if you enter in the shopping cart. On the Paypal payment, you can ignore the address portion. At most, if they do not know where to ship, you can give them the address later.
