Paypal checkout issue

Here's a problem (which Paypal is aware of). During checkout via payal, here's what users see if they are not using IE7 or Firefox:



Notice the strange characters where the text should say "It's". This looks darn suspicious to buyers and they do not complete the transaction. This has KILLED my sales today and yesterday. Anyone else?

 

Yup. I've got that even when viewing through IE 7.

 

true, actually it just happened recently. looks scary even to me. youi probably should send them an email and yell at them, and they'll be motivated to fix it, lazy paypal

I personally never noticed this before . Gonna check this out now with opera .

 

Whoa that is kind of strange. Paypal should definately fix that, maybe you can sue them for your loss of traffic lol.

 

I wonder how people manage these ideas ... not bad though . meanwhile it worked fine in opera aswell .

 

Actually i've seen this myself i just refershed the page to see whether it's real paypal page or a phising site i was really worried about it

I was making many purchases when I came across that... got worried for a sec then looked at the url in the browser and continued with the payment.

 

nah I would have delayed my purchase in that case .. opinions differ .. but then you are having Bahadur Bachha as cutom user title

 

Hahaha... your smart... But I do verify the url of the paypal everytime making a payment. Play safe!

 

ah.. its not fixed yet . I saw that weird text and I was using Firefox .
