Paypal charging fees

Hi I am new to this forum and also new to Paypal. Actually Paypal is charging me fees for receiving payments. Today I received $0.50 from one of the DP member. But Paypal charged me $0.32 as fees and what I got was only $0.18 :(.
I am an Indian user of paypal with an unverified account.
I am asking this question because I have another paypal a/c (which is now permanently limited) where I have received payments but without any fees

You probably have a business account now and not a personal. PayPal charges different fees for different purposes. For example (from what I remember), a fee for a payment owed personal payment is less (or nothing) while a charge for a product or service is more. People cheating it, might get their account closed though.

I'm not an expert on paypal rules or payments.
But I have seen some people ask for payment from paypal as a gift.

Apparently this avoids a fee charge to the recipient and adds only a slight cost to the sender.
Check paypal to see if your intended use is within their guidelines for gifts.

Well earlier there was no fees for recieving payments in personal accounts but paypal is not charging fees for it , so your account is normal.

You should try out 'Mass Payments', the fee should be $1 only.

At least it was like that one year ago ;)

Well im not sure what 50 cents is even worth so dont worry about it. Start making more money so the fees dont effect you so much.
