I was wondering if you sell someone a template, and he sends you the money via paypal. can he chargeback? so you lose both the money and template?
But no one will charge back until unless that person is seriously not satisfied with your work or you are not giving him right services. And even if you don't have balance in your account and someone performs charge back then funds will be taken from your credit card that is attached to your paypal or balance in your account will go negative and next time you receive any payment, paypal will deduct that amount first.
Yes this is one of the main thing paypal have to tackle,I also sell many things on my blog and i always think abt. this matter .
You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Why inform others with false information? First of all saying no one will do a charge back unless they are not satisfied is a crock of sh*t. I have had it happen to me twice, for exactly this topic.. web design for PayPal payment. They do it to get the template for free, it does not take a rocket scientist to put two and two together. Also regarding PayPal taking funds from a credit card/bank account on your account if a charge back is initiated is not true. Paypal was sued for this years ago and no long follows this practice, your paypal account just goes negative and if you don't pay the negative balance they send it to a collections agency. They will not limit your account if you have verified your account, but if you are doing too many transactions form your personal account then certainly they can block your account, because you cannot do business with you personal paypal account.
well most chargebacks are made due to use of stolen credit card.... and paypal disputes are for scammers who want to keep there money and the product they have purchase.. so either way paypal is not good for selling digital products.... use moneybookers.com because its really hard to take the money back from you at moneybookers...
