PayPal Chargeback trouble

I've been selling websites on Flippa. Recently I sold on, received the payment via PayPal then a week after transferring the domain and site to the winner, there was a PayPal chargeback. I had given up the site, and suddenly had all of my PayPal fund frozen. How can this be avoided? Please let me know your thoughts.

Try to contact paypal and show them all conversion proof with that buyer as well as contact domain registrar as well and let them know of this issue.

    DON.

Oh, that's not good at all. I think there may be a bit of trouble here as Paypal doesn't protect against "virtual goods" which websites and domains may fall under. There are some ways to skirt around this, depending on if you have their address or not. To avoid this in the future...one of the better ways is to use a well-trusted escrow service.

As Travis said, Paypal doesn't protect against "virtual goods". It's hard to convince Paypal that you are entitled to the payment. Time to find another payment solution.

Better show the flippa invoice for it and also show all the domain transfer details too :)

Maybe from now on you put all the files on a CD and ship it to the buyer by Mail or FedEx or something, and call it "Tangible Goods." Then you only have to show proof of delivery.
