i currently have a business paypal under a company name, self employed i am my boss. I get 200+ a day was wondering if the fee for both accounts the same or is either one lower? im doing services for people just wondering which is best account business or premier. i can always switch over to other... what about fee's from recieving payment's what are %.
so the difference between business and premier is that business = COMPANY NAME? thats it? money wise= same
These are some links which might be useful :: http://www.ppcalc.com/ || https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside If you are not receiving any CC funded payment then you can use a personal account and no fee will be charged on a personal account. As far as I know, the fee is same on both business and premier account [ check the fee table on paypal's site ]
Is it best to stay with business account for me in my case? 200 bucks a day im getting -6.10 using this PayPal Merchant Rate III (2.9% + $0.30) as ppcalu showed me recieve 200 -6.10 i get 193.90
There is no difference between a premier and business account. Fees structure and every thing is same. But only 1 difference is that you need to use the business account in the name of your business and the premier account you can either use in your own name or u can use in the name of the business! That's it and nothing more!
Its more about the taxations purposes i.e. how do you want to show your income. direct income or want to route it through a company name
oh i see, so i guess there's no problems with my business account even tho im the only person running this self employeed business i like my made up company name looks more professional
Also note that, IMO, PayPal business accounts get limited far less often than the other types of PayPal accounts. It kinda parallels business credit cards vs personal credit cards.
Well, if your business is registered in your home country and you have a bank account in your company's name then a Business Account would be relevant. However if you do not have a registered business or a bank account in your business name then go for the Premier account. The Premier account is the same as the business account in terms of most of the benefits, except it is for the private individual.
