I recently opened a business account with Paypal. I do NOT want my social security number associated with the account due to problems with them in the past with my premier account. When I click View Limits, it tells me the withdraw limit is $500. So I go to the page that tells me what to do to lift the limitation. It says I must do 2 of the 3 steps which are: Add and verify bank account Verify social security number Add and verify debit or credit card I have added and verified my bank account and I will be adding a verifying my debit card (getting a prepaid so I can control how much they have access to). After I do these 2 steps, what will my limitation be? And will they eventually force me to provide a social security number? I have read they will do this even though they state you must only do 2 of the 3 options. If I obtain an employer identification number to use instead, will they still insist on a social security number?
Most likely they will require your SSN at some point no matter what. I've registered business accounts, with an EIN, and they still want the account owners SSN as far as I can remember.
this happen to all from USA i think if paypal need more information about : Add and verify bank account Verify social security number Add and verify debit or credit card nothing to do must provide this document soon as possible to release your account good luck
They won't ask your SSN no if your add your credit card.. I think you don't have any limitation now..
