PayPal buisness acount sign up dificulties

Hello,

I need to open a business PayPal account for a company in the BVI ( British Virgin Island ).

The problem is that the Sign up forms are not clear and PayPal support is the worst I ever seen ( they never replied me ).

Maybe some one here might be able to answer one of the questions?

Q1. in the first form they ask "Select the country or region where you live".

1. Is this the country I live in?
2. Or the country the company is registered at?

Q2. In the next form they ask for the business details and the owner address. The problem is that the owner does not live in the BVI and the country field is set to BVI.
Any idea?

Upon registration I will have to verify the account. The company does not have a credit card and I prefer not using my private one.
Any other options?

Please note, I want to do it the right way.

Q1 . This would be in the country you live in. Paypal does not care where the company is registered, they are more concerned about where you are currently residing in.

Q2. Typically, you will need to be in the country your business is registered in and if you are not, get your employee who is living in the BVI to sign up for the account.

Q3. Typically, companies don't have credit cards, there are corporate credit cards but they will still have the name of the individual card holders. They require the credit cards to verify that you are a real person and use the bank verification to verify your status. If you do not want to use your credit card for the sake of verification then I am afraid that you are out of options here. Trust is a two way thing and if you don't trust Paypal, Paypal would not be able to trust you. Besides you will need a credit card to make purchases through Paypal and thus you still need to attach one.

Although this has not been tried before, you might want to fax your passport, driver's license, utility bills and your certificate of incorporation to paypal as a form of verification. But ask them first. If possible, call them up.
