From August 1, 2010, Electronic Transfer to Bank will not be available.

How do you feel about this new policy of PayPal? I think, there will be a lot of inconvenience. What do you say?

    Thanks
    Regards

But why would they put up a policy like that? What's with Indians and bank transfers?

Well that would suck really bad. Why won't PayPal just flush out accounts being made in India that hasn't been active for an x amount of months?

I dunno, I don't live in India. ;) Well for starting webmasters, how about adsense (that is if they're into blogging and stuff)? or they'll just have to find another payment alternatives. I highly doubt that it is only PayPal and that there are no other payment services can be found in India. PayPal may be the most popular and reliable but the Indians have no other choice over it anyway.

    It would take years. ;)

Time receiving the check - 1 month
Time clearing the check - 1 month

Is this policy only applies in India or all over world? Me for one is going to leave Paypal, maybe seeking other payment service that can transfered to bank account:)

paypal sucks , so leave it , better to use cc directly for payments and wire transfer to recieve payment. well paypal cheque clear in 3 days. don't use paypal to save 10% of your money :) paypal charges + Forex charges = approx 10%

I do not know, what problem PayPal is having with Indians
    - First they removed Personal Payment option.
    - Now they have stopped electronic transfer option.

I am thinking about opening a merchant account, which is the best company that allow me to accept Credit Card and then allow me to transfer funds to Bank.
